| Budget 2008: General CENVAT Rate reduced to 14%, Coral releases X-ise utility

General Rate of CENVAT has been reduced from 16% to 14%, these changes comes into effect from March 1, 2008.
This implies, for all removals made on and after March 1, 2008, the accompanying invoices shall compute and print changed rate of CENVAT.
